Question: How do I go about earning continuing education credits?
Answer: It’s simple. Continuing education credit can be earned by following these steps:
- Choose a test; place it in your shopping cart
- Go through the checkout process where you will register to become a member and purchase the test
- Order or obtain the book/journal article/legal case if needed by following the link on the course materials pop-up page
- Print or download a copy of the test
- When ready, log on and take the test
- Download or print your Certificate
Question: Do I need to buy the books/journal articles/legal cases?
Answer: No, you may use your own books, journals, or legal cases. One of the main goals at CONCEPT is to provide CEs for materials that most professionals have on hand. If you do not have the materials on hand to complete a course, simply follow the link on the course materials pop-up page and purchase or access the materials that way. We have partnered with Amazon to ensure that you have easy access to low-cost materials.
Question: What are my state CE requirements?
Answer: Please check your state's requirements by clicking on your state under the “CE Requirements” box on the right-hand side of the homepage.
Question: Will my state accept these continuing education courses?
Answer: Yes. CONCEPT is an American Psychological Association-approved sponsor of continuing education credits. Every state that has a CE requirement allows either unlimited (most states) or a specific number (some states) of those hours to be acquired through home study courses. Check your state’s requirements by clicking on your state under the “CE Requirements” menu on the right-hand side of the homepage.
Question: What is a passing score for the courses?
Answer: 75% and above.
Question: How soon will I receive my CE certificate for the course?
Answer: When you submit your test for scoring, it will be scored immediately. If you have a passing grade, your certificate is available to print immediately. If you do not pass, you can re-take the test. As soon as you receive a passing grade, you will be able to download and print your certificate.
Question: Can I have my certificate of completion mailed to me?
Answer: All certificates are available for download and print immediately upon completion of the course. If you do not have the ability to print or prefer for us to send you a copy of your certificate by mail, we will do so for a $10.00 fee. All of your certificates are accessible to you at any time so you can come back and print them as you need them.

Answer: Each test can be taken as many times as needed to obtain a passing grade. After submitting a test for scoring, you will be told which items were incorrect and allowed to review your responses and the correct responses to all questions.
