Instructions for Earning CE Credit at IAFMHS

Anyone interested in receiving CE credit for the relevant IAFMHS Conference Sessions can do so by following the steps listed below. There is a $10 administrative fee for each CE session or, for those wishing to earn 5 or more CE credits during the conference, a $50 fee for the full panoply of sessions (15.25 hours of CE credit). You do not have to make the decision to pay for CEs now. CONCEPT will keep track of your CEs for free and you can pay the administrative fee when you decide that you want your Certificates of Completion for the CE sessions you attended.

1. Register your contact information with CONCEPT

This can be done either before the conference by clicking here or at the conference. At the conference, look for a CONCEPT representative near the registration packet pick-up or come to the CONCEPT booth in the exhibit area to register your contact information.

Pick up a postcard and a session registration card at the CONCEPT booth. Fill out your contact information on the postcard and return it to a CONCEPT representative at the conference. This card will also contain an ID#, which will be the alphanumeric code that you will use on all CE-related materials (session registration cards; session evaluation forms).

It is very important that, at some point before the end of the conference, you register your contact information with CONCEPT so that we can track your CE credits and send you your certificates of completion.

2. Hand your Session Registration Card to the CONCEPT representative at start of the CE session

A CONCEPT representative will be standing outside of the relevant conference room prior to each of the conference sessions that have been designated as CE Sessions (look for the CONCEPT banner). Hand your Session Registration Card to the representative and take a session evaluation form. You will need to ensure that your ID# is on your Session Registration Card. This is how we track your attendance for the CE session. You will need to complete the session evaluation form and hand this back to the CONCEPT representative after the session.

Additional Session Registration Cards can be obtained at either the CONCEPT booth or from a CONCEPT representative at the conference. You will need one Session Registration Card for each CE session that you attend.

3. Hand your Session Evaluation Form to the CONCEPT representative at the end of the CE session

Complete the session evaluation form and hand this to the CONCEPT representative as you leave the CE session. You will need to include your ID# on the tear-away portion at the bottom of the evaluation form. This serves as the sign-out procedure for attendance purposes.

4. Receive your Certificate of Completion for each of the CE sessions attended by email after the conference

CONCEPT will email your Certificates of Completion for each of the CE sessions you attended directly to you after the conference. In addition, we will keep this information on file in case you need it for your licensing board in the future.
