New Online Offering

CONCEPT and ProActive ReSolutions have partnered to offer online training courses on how to administer important and relevant forensic assessment instruments. The same training workshops as are held around the world will now be offered online and can be completed from the comfort of your own office. Dr. Stephen D. Hart will present the first online training course on using the RSVP in evaluations of risk for sexual violence.

Using the RSVP for Evaluations of Risk for Sexual Violence

The goal of this training program is to train participants on the use of the RSVP in evaluations of risk for sexual violence. Upon successful completion of Part I and Part II of this training program the clinical will have achieved optimal rater reliability on the RSVP and will be ready to use this structured professional judgment instrument in their clinical forensic practice.

This online training course consists of 2 parts:

Part I will present information on using the RSVP, a structured professional judgment instrument, in evaluations of risk for violence. A series of 4 videos, each of Dr. Hart describing the RSVP and relevant information for its use in forensic evaluation of risk for sexual violence. Participants will also be taken through the RSVP Manual and will complete an evaluation form on the evaluation of risk for sexual violence. Individualized feedback will be given to each participant and participants wll be awarded 7 CE credits for successful completion of Part I.

Part II will take the paricipant through 6 case studies. Participants will read the first case study and score the RSVP protocol for that case. Individualized feedback will be given on the RSVP Protocol for the first case study and the participant will then receive the second case study. Each of the 6 case studies will be scored by the participant and will receive individualized feedback. Upon completion of Part II participants will receive 18 CE credits.

Participants who complete Part I and Part II of this training course will have achieved optimal rater reliability on the RSVP and should feel comfortable using the RSVP in their clinical forensic practice.
