Partner with CONCEPT

CONCEPT is interested in partnering with leaders in the field who have written books, developed courses or workshops, or authored journal articles or other materials relevant to the professional practice of psychology and other mental health professions. If you believe that your area of expertise could make an important contribution as a Continuing Education course, please consider partnering with us.

One of our primary goals is to offer quality Continuing Education courses. This is best accomplished by working with experts in the field to develop and promote relevant, evidence-based, CE courses that will have practical relevance for those working in all areas of the field (teaching, research, and professional practice). At CONCEPT, we believe that offering the highest quality courses means partnering with the best in the field. We will work diligently to promote your course and will offer you, in return for developing the course, an ongoing percentage of the proceeds from your course.

Various types of CE courses are offered by CONCEPT:

Book-based and Article-based Courses

Book-based and article-based courses are popular with professionals since they offer the ability to obtain CE credits for reading books or articles that are an ongoing part of professional practice. Authoring this type of course requires the development of learning objectives and a course exam. CONCEPT will work with book authors to develop this type of course and will promote the course through both electronic and print media sources. Many book authors find that this is an excellent way to both promote their book and increase book sales. It simply serves an another avenue for selling and promoting their books.

Online Courses

Online courses are stand-alone courses that include all course materials and exam questions. Often, live workshops can be turned into online courses. Authoring this type of course requires the development of learning objectives, course materials, and a course exam. CONCEPT will work with course developers to build this type of course and will promote the course through both electronic and print media sources.

Webinars

Webinars are online courses that take place in real-time and that allow the presenter and participants to interact with each other. Participants sign on to a course site online at a designated time and date and view the workshop online in real time. Webinars are the online equivalent of live workshops and are considered by the American Psychological Association to be live CE courses. Authoring this type of course requires the development of learning objectives and the live (online) presentation of course materials.

Live Workshops

Live workshops are offered in various locations throughout the United States and Canada. They generally take the format of either a half-day (4 CEs) or full-day (7 CEs) session and involve the in-person presentation of training materials on a specific topic of interest.
